From September 2021 we will be teaching face-to-face on our campus.

The online option would be allowed only on case by case basis. You will also have full access to all services at the University including Library and cafeteria, academic counselling, students services and career counselling.

The University is committed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the students, faculty and staff when classes resume on campus in September and to follow the guidelines of the Swiss and Geneva Health authorities concerning the Covid-19.
Classes will be taught through a hybrid model that will combine the student presence in class and the use of online teaching for those students who are late . This will allow for students who have difficulties arriving on time in Geneva to start with virtual lessons and later join the class. New facilities have been added including a large student lounge as well as a conference room to allow social distancing.

The University has elaborated regulations and taken several measures from the start in September : hand sanitizers stations are posted across campus, signage directing people to walk in a single direction, one student per table, free masks and disinfecting wipes are available and increased classroom cleaning has been introduced.
The masks are mandatory in indoor public spaces where it is not possible to keep the 1.5-meters distance. In addition, it is the responsibility of each student, faculty and staff to follow the hygiene recommendations in keeping distance and wash their hands regularly.
Guidelines are regularly updated and posted on campus and the dedicated portals including social media.

Vaccination is free in Switzerland for all residents so we recommend, even though it is not mandatory, to get vaccinated in case you did not receive any. It will help protect yourself and those around you against COVID-19.

We look forward to seeing you in September.
