TEC 698 – Cloud Computing Foundations(AWS) and Capstone This course aims to provide an overall understanding of cloud computing concepts, models and services and build cloud computing skills preparing students for AWS certification(Amazon Cloud Practitioner Certification) which is one of the most prestigious in the market. The lab exercises teach students how to conduct Big Data analysis with practical, real-world examples. In addition, each student, individually or as a small group, will work on a data analytics project to apply analytics methodologies, techniques, tools and skills learned throughout the program to a real-world problem and present the results, insights, and recommendations. It could be analytical projects with Tableau, PowerBI, Python, AI libraries, Cloud architecture using AWS, or cases on the impact of big data, AI or analytics in company strategy.3
